At Mundi Estate, there’s so much to look forward to. If you’re looking for somewhere to build a home, build a family, build a future, this could be the place. Mundi will be a close-knit community that shares the same values you do, surrounded by nature and amenity. Living at Mundi in Mundijong means having convenient access to everything you need - from schools and shopping to cafes, parks, health facilities, convenient transport links, and so much stunning nature.

Here’s a closer look at what’s in and around Mundi.

Let’s go shopping #

For everyday essentials, there’s an IGA right in the heart of Mundijong’s main street, just three minutes away, while the Mundijong Markets bring a rural touch to town every fortnight.  Byford Village and Baldivis Square are convenient shopping centres around fifteen minutes away, and both Rockingham Central and Armadale Centre Shopping Centre, each only around twenty minutes away, offer plenty of retail, dining and entertainment options.

That’s one big shopping list, ticked off!

Time for school #

Starting a new chapter in a new area is a big step for families, especially when it comes time to choose a new school. Fortunately, within fifteen minutes of Mundi there are good choices of schools, both private and public, and because the region is starting to thrive, there’ll be more to come. Mundijong Primary School is only four minutes away, and Serpentine Primary and Jarrahdale Primary are both around ten minutes away. Also nearby is Court Grammar School (seven minutes) and The King's College in Wellard (fifteen minutes). If you have university age students - or you’re studying - hop on the freeway and be at Murdoch University in under half an hour.

Coffee, lunch or dinner? Easy.  #

When it’s time for coffee catch ups, the closest spot will be the local cafe at the Mundi community hub (coming soon!). The hugely popular Brother of Mine is around fifteen minutes away at Baldivis, and the Serpentine Falls Cafe is even closer. For a family get together or dinner with friends, try the Kings Road Brewing Company (five minutes away), the Jarrahdale Tavern & Restaurant (eleven minutes) or the Byford Tavern (twelve minutes). For special occasions, the Millbrook Winery is perfect, or for an easy takeaway at home, you can’t go past Mundijong Fish & Chips!

The tranquility of nature #

You won’t have to go far from Mundi to be surrounded by breathtaking scenery and awesome nature. Close to home is the natural bushlands of the Watkins Road Nature Reserve, while just a little further on is the magnificent Serpentine National Park, more than 10,000 acres of spectacular nature - bushwalking trails, waterfalls, lookouts, picnic spots, and an abundance of native fauna and wildflowers.

If you like gazing at - or even cuddling - cuddly marsupials, the famous Cohunu Koala Park is a beautiful wildlife sanctuary in nearby Byford.

Families that play together… #

Mundi supports active, healthy living for all ages. Happily, it’s easy to keep active with all the opportunities close by, starting with the Mundijong Football Club, Mundijong Netball Courts, and Mundijong Oval. Whitby Playground is six minutes away, and well worth discovering. The Serpentine Jarrahdale Men’s Shed is a fantastic resource that connects the community, and the Serpentine Jarrahdale Community Recreation Centre keeps everybody fit and happy. Just over ten minutes away is Byford Little Athletics Club, and Byford & Districts Country Club - perfect for a day of golf, barefoot bowls, a beer in the sports bar or a family dinner.

Getting around #

Getting to work, getting to school or just getting about exploring the region. Mundi is well connected, wherever you need to be, with easy access to the Kwinana Freeway via Mundijong Road. Connecting will be even easier with the upcoming Tonkin Highway Extension, and the future Byford train station. Mundijong even has its own train station, part of the Australind rail service between Perth and Bunbury.

Mundi offers a perfect balance between a tranquil, semi-rural lifestyle and modern convenience, with Rockingham’s beaches twenty-five minutes away and Perth Airport forty minutes away.

All this considered, and it’s easy to realise why Mundi Estate really is so perfectly located. If you’d like to know more about living at Mundi, talk to the team at Parcel Property today.
